Engine: Yanmar 2GM20 raw water-cooled 2-cylinder 4-stroke vertical marine diesel engine with KM2 gearbox. Japanese 1983-2005 model delivers DIN hp 16 at high speed 3400rpm through shaft to folding bronze propeller. Engine alternator charges two 12 volt batteries. 60-litre fuel tank under portside cockpit locker. Rev counter with oil pressure, coolant and alternator warning lights. 12-volt electrical system re-wired 1996.
Blue canvas sprayhood with transparent panels. Teak slat cockpit seating and teak slat cockpit sole.
Deck gear: Tiller steering, two Lewmar 40 self-tailing sheet winches, two Lewmar 25 two-speed sheet winches, manual anchor winch, single speed halyard winch, CQR drop-forged anchor with 8mm chain and rope scope, mooring warps and fenders. Three mooring cleats on the foredeck and
two mooring cleats aft, each with under-deck reinforcement plates. Navigation, steaming and anchor lights. Safety gear: Lifejackets for four adults, two horseshoe lifebuoys, one manual diaphragm bilge pump in cockpit and one one electric automatic bilge pump, fire extinguisher in saloon, cockpit gas locker for two cylinders, mast-mounted radar reflector. Liferaft mounted in cockpit.
Navigation equipment: Compass, depth sounder. Saloon fitted in wood with white-panelled lockers, heated by a gas-powered Truma combined warm air and hot water unit. Port and starboard settee berths with plain brown textile cushions seat and table for four. Two short V-berths in focsle and one full quarter berth by a wooden chart desk and instrument panel.
Galley: stainless steel sink with fresh water tank under port settee berth, two burner gas hob and grill with the cockpit gas locker. Heads are forward in a wet room area with Jabsco Twist N Lock compact sea lavatory.
WAVELENGTH has been cruised extensively in the Irish Sea and the West of Scotland but her owner is unwell. She is currently stored, de-rigged, on the hard at a yard in Northwich, with a yard crane and road transport available.
