Ashore at Burnham at Crouch
We have a had few Hurley 22's over the years at Responsible Boat Disposal, and the once again this one does not disappoint!
The owner came in touch with as her winter berthing comes to an end of this month, and is struggling to find a suitable new owner. She is a fin keeler currently on a road trailer. The road trailer is included, however will require servicing before roadworthy.
This boat is a 1970's Hurley 22. The owners in question have had her for 20 years. Hurleys so successful as a boat, at the time of construction, they were building up to 5 per week! She can berth 4 in her cabin, and has a very strong owners association as seen in the link: https://www.hurleyownersassociation.co.uk/pages/h22.htm
The engine is a single cylinder Yanmar diesel which is only 5 years old. It has a full set of sails in good condition with a furling jib. The hull was resprayed about ten years ago, and at the same time new windows were fitted. This boat has been looked after well and lovingly by the previous owners, and they have expressed a desire for the new owner to be similarly dedicated in her upkeep and enjoyment!
The winter storage expires at the end of March, however this should be renewable on a monthly basis.
